More Friday Nite Funnies

The avid fisherman...

A funeral procession pulled into a cemetery. Several carloads of family members followed a black truck towing a boat with a coffin in it.
A passer-by remarked, "That guy must have been a very avid fisherman."
"Oh, he still is," remarked one of the mourners. As a matter of fact, he's headed off to the lake as soon as we bury his wife."

New Car Back-Up Sensors

Another Chinese invention...
Most of the newest cars have a “Back-Up Sensor” that warns the driver before the rear bumper actually comes in contact with something.
Most people probably think that this valuable  feature came out of the minds of engineers, but it was recently disclosed that the concept was first developed by a Chinese farmer.
His invention was simple and effective.  Scroll down to see a photo of his Back-Up Sensor.  It emits a high-pitched squeal when the vehicle backs into something.

FBI Looks For Motive In Marine Killings

FBI Looks for motive?

I suggest looking at the obvious...ISLAM!

The U.S. Federal Bureau of Investigation is trying to determine the motive of the gunman who opened fire on two military facilities in Chattanooga, Tennessee Thursday, killing four U.S. Marines.
The FBI's Ed Reinhold said in a late night news conference that there is "nothing now" that ties the shooter, identified as Muhammad Youssef Abdulazeez, to international terrorists, but the possibility is being investigated.
One more time...Islam is the problem.

The IRS Scandal That Would Have Put Republicans In Jail

Some people from the Obama Regime should be wearing prison orange over this...

So the Obama IRS wasn’t just persecuting right-leaning nonprofits — it was out to prosecute them, too. And with the help of the Obama Department of Justice and FBI.
Via Freedom of Information Act lawsuits, the watchdog group Judicial Watch just got evidence of the plot. A “DOJ Recap” on an Oct. 8, 2010, meeting tells how officials from the three agencies discussed “several possible theories to bring criminal charges under FEC law” against groups “posing” as tax-exempt nonprofits.
As part of the project, the IRS handed the FBI 21 computer disks with 1.23 million pages of confidential IRS returns from 113,000 nonprofit 501(c)(4) groups — nearly every 501(c)(4). This, though federal law generally bans the IRS from sharing such data.
These creatures make Nixon look like a Saint.

My Thoughts On The Confederate Flag

This is a touchy subject, but I’ll try to explain my feelings in an open and honest way.

In general, what my generation does not recognize is that the meaning of the Confederate flag has changed over the years.

The Flag once was a symbol of Southern values and pride. It has since been high jacked, and for several years now, younger people have known it only as a symbol of racism and hate.

We can’t fight this losing battle of words, so let's concede with dignity.

We old timers can still be respectful of the past,

But we have to accept the reality of the present, so

Just REMOVE the flag, and move on!
