Obamacare And Noted Legal Scholar Nancy Pelosi

Nancy Pelosi knows the Constitution...

House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) said the Supreme Court will uphold the constitutionality of President Barack Obama’s health care law, predicting a 6-3 decision because, as she remarked, “I know the Constitution.”
Pelosi is just throwing sh*t out there, no way can she count to six.

Jobless Claims Rise For Fourth Straight Week

Obama's recovery!

New U.S. claims for unemployment benefits rose last week for the fourth straight week, which could heighten concerns the labor market recovery is softening.
At the same time, a second reading on U.S. gross domestic product showed the economy expanded at an annualized rate of 1.9% in the first quarter, in line with economists' estimates, but slower than an initial estimate of 2.2%.
All this for only 5 trillion dollars.

The Recovery That Wasn't

The extraordinay recovery from president sub-par.
In his recent speeches on the campaign trail and at official functions, President Obama typically touts the fact that over the past two years, the economy has created more than 4 million new jobs, with more than 1 million in the past six months alone.
If Obama says it, it must be extraordinary!
At a fundraiser last month, he called this "extraordinary progress."
But the economic recovery that Obama has presided over has been far from extraordinary. It hasn't even been ordinary.
Uh...

And on several measures, the current recovery — which started five months after Obama took office and is now in its 35th month — is the worst on record since World War II.
Obviously Obama has a different definition of "extraordinary" than those of us with an IQ above their shoe size.
Obama cannot run on his record. He will lose in a landslide.

No Confidence In Obamanomics

Everything Obama touches...

Economy: Consumer confidence took a "surprise" tumble in May, as home prices hit 10-year lows. Tell us again why economists keep calling bad economic news about Obama's so-called recovery "unexpected"?
Analysts had predicted the Conference Board's Consumer Confidence Index would climb to 70 in May. Instead it dropped more than four points to 64.9, the biggest drop since last fall.
Not really a surprise to those of us who pay attention. Another recovery summer.

Eric Holder Goes To Church

To pray campaign for more votes...

Attorney General Eric Holder, the IRS, and the liberal lawyers at the ACLU will brief several hundred pastors in the African American community on how to participate in the presidential election — which the Congressional Black Caucus chair expects will help President Obama’s campaign.
“We will have representatives from nine denominations who actually pastor somewhere in the neighborhood of about 10 million people, and we’re going to first of all equip them with the information they need to know about what they can say and what they cannot say in the church that would violate their 501c3 status with the IRS,” Rep. Emanuel Cleaver, D-Mo., told MSNBC today.
“In fact, we’re going to have the IRS administrator there, we’re going to have the Attorney General Eric Holder there, we’re going to have the lawyers’ organization from around the country, the ACLU — all giving ministers guidance about what they can and cannot do,” he noted.
Any sign of the GOP Senators who voted to confirm this POS? Hello?

Veterans Dis The Commander In Chief

In real world speak that means they don't like their former boss.

U.S. veterans, about 13% of the adult population and consisting mostly of older men, support Mitt Romney over Barack Obama for president by 58% to 34%, while nonveterans give Obama a four-percentage-point edge.
I would bet the active duty percentage is every bit that high too.

Recovery Summer Version 4.0

The liberals will celebrate this.

49.1%: Percent of the population that lives in a household where at least one member received some type of government benefit in the first quarter of 2011.
This is, and always has been the goal of the left. Dependency breeds dependency. The unfortunate reality is this will take generations to reverse.
The more people who receive benefits, the harder it’s going to be to make cuts, and it’s never popular to raise taxes. In some respects that argues for letting a combination of tax increases and spending cuts that is set to automatically hit in 2013 take effect. There’s just one problem: the Congressional Budget Office says it would sink the economy into recession.
The homeless people ads, Grandma eating dog food and starving babies are right around the corner if the cuts are too deep.
Obama and his minions know their base.
The voters on the left know it is easier to walk to the mailbox than to go look for work.

Two Years (and several failed eco-ventures) Ago

Two years ago today President Choom announced the future is here.

Two years ago today, May 26, 2010, President Obama traveled to Fremont, California to showcase a “brighter and more prosperous future” promised by the green-energy company Solyndra.
The solar panel maker went bankrupt last year, taking with it $535 million in taxpayer-funded loan guarantees. More than 1,000 people lost their jobs. The Obama administration had cut corners to rush money to Solyndra, with some of the beneficiaries being top Obama fundraisers. Even as Solyndra failed, the administration considered giving it another $469 million.
I wonder if he ever stopped using...

America Isn't Buying Hope And Change

By a huge margin.

Americans are nearly twice as likely to say they've gotten financially worse off as better off since Obama became president, according to a new Washington Post/ABC News poll.
Only 16 percent of adult respondents say they are better off today then they were four years ago, while 30 percent say they are not as well off. Fifty-three say they are about the same. When ABC News/Washington Post asked the same question in June of 1992, 19 percent of Americans said they were better off under President George H.W. Bush compared to 32 percent who said they were worse off. Bush went on to lose to President Clinton that November.
Still disappointing to think that 16% are that far off the rails...

More Racism From Obama And Holder's People

Lovely.

“I love black people, and I hate the g*ddamn white man, woman, and child, grandma, aunt, uncle, Pappa Billy Bob, and whoever else. Redneck Tom and Blueneck Robert, and whoever else you wanna name. I hate the white man. I hate the very look of white people. I hate the sound of white people. G*ddamnit, I hate thesmell of white people. I hate the oppression of white people, I hate the murder and the rape and the torture and the taking away of our names, our culture, our God, our music and damn, I hate this cracker for everything he has done to us.”
“You should be thankful we’re not running around here hanging crackers by nooses and all that kind of stuff, yet, yet, yet.”
If a white man had said something like this referencing this kind of hate towards a black man he would already be on trial.

Obama Has Cherokee Roots Too?

Or so he claims.

Does he do this sh*t with a straight face?
Unlike Ms. Warren, no one has ever alleged that President Obama may have secured employment due to his claim of Native American ancestry. Like Ms. Warren, however, the President puts forth his claim with emphatic certitude, although until now no one has sought to ask him to provide evidence to prove it.
Like Ms. Warren, the proof the President has offered to date does not go beyond "family lore"--though he, at least, has not yet offered the Pow Wow Chow cookbook as evidence of his Cherokee ancestry.
That would make Obama Kenyan, Hawaiian, and Irish, with a splash of Cherokee.
Too frigging much...
Who is this charlatan?

Have The Catholics Had Enough?

The war on religion hits a speed bump.

The archdiocese of New York, headed by Cardinal Timothy Dolan, the archdiocese of Washington, D.C., headed by Cardinal Donald Wuerl, the University of Notre Dame, and 40 other Catholic dioceses and organizations around the country announced on Monday that they are suing the Obama administration for violating their freedom of religion, which is guaranteed by the First Amendment to the Constitution.
The dioceses and organizations, in different combinations, are filing 12 different lawsuits filed in federal courts around the country.
Obama will need more than Hillary by November...

How Desperate Is Obama?

Desperate enough to dump Biden?
For Hillary...

Step back a minute: What does the president get from keeping Punxsutawney Putz on the ticket? Zippy the chimp. But if he bails on Mr. Biden, picks a woman — bam, base enthusiasm goes through the roof, women come out of the woodwork to vote (for Mrs. Clinton, not for Mr. Obama), and it’s 1600 Pennsylvania Ave. for another four years. (Plus, Joe becomes Secretary of State, because, really now, he wouldn’t know what to do if he wasn’t living off the government teat, would he?)
Back to the president’s desperation. As The Washington Times laid out last week, Mr. Obama’s re-election is no lock. “Many models show President Obama with a likely base of 252 electoral votes out of the 270 needed to win,” the paper said. Nice lead. He’s got a hold of the West Coast, the Northeast minus New Hampshire, plus most likely Illinois, Michigan, Minnesota, Colorado, New Mexico, Nevada and Hawaii (although some of those are still considered in play).
I can certainly see Obama doing whatever it takes...Desperate people do desperate things, Obama is getting desperate.
Seven incumbents have replaced original running mates over the years: Five won re-election. Why’d they do it? Desperation.

Another Ann Romney Basher

Via NewsBusters.

The confusing part to me is that she is a former top Obama economist. I was not aware the Obama administration had any working economists.

Ass Meets Hand

That had to hurt.

Obama's Electoral Lock About To Be Picked?

A hopeful sign.

Many models show President Obama with a likely base of 252 electoral votes out of the 270 needed to win. This includes the West coast, all the states northeast of Maryland except for New Hampshire, and seven other states in the Great Lakes region (Illinois, Michigan and Minnesota) the west (Colorado, New Mexico and Nevada) plus Hawaii. The Republican base in the South and West is around 191. This leaves 95 tossup electoral votes of which Mr. Obama needs only 18.
Tough numbers to overcome indeed, still doable with the economy flat lining under Obama's failed recovery.
However, those 18 will be hard to get. Either Ohio or Florida alone would push Mr. Obama over the top, but neither state is likely to go Democratic given current trends. North Carolina, worth 15 votes, was initially supposed to play a key role in the Obama strategy. If the Tar Heel State could be kept in the Democratic column, it was thought that victory would be practically impossible for the Republicans. The Democratic National Convention was set in Charlotte for this reason.
The ship may spring a leak and start sinking in North Carolina. North Carolina looks bad for Barry.
All eyes shifting to Pennsylvania? Get your popcorn.

Obama Is Underwater In North Carolina

I hope he keeps sinking.

Mitt Romney has moved out to an eight-point lead over President Obama in North Carolina after the two men were virtually tied a month ago.
The latest Rasmussen Reports telephone survey of Likely Voters in the Tar Heel State shows the putative Republican nominee earning 51% of the vote to Obama’s 43%. Two percent (2%) like some other candidate, and four percent (4%) are undecided. . .
Only 56 more states to go!

About That (safest its ever been) Mexican Border

Janet Napolitano's version of safe differs from mine.

Forty-nine decapitated and mutilated bodies were found Sunday dumped on a highway connecting the northern Mexican metropolis of Monterrey to the U.S. border in what appears to be the latest blow in an escalating war of intimidation among drug gangs.
If Obama is re-elected  we can expect these peace loving immigrants violent drug smuggling thugs from south of the border to begin their trek north...
Napolitano and Holder both need replaced, both have trouble with the truth.

Client #9 Talks About The Sanctity Of Marriage

Bill Clinton was busy?
Is Eliot Spitzer - a man who had to resign as New York's governor due to a sex scandal involving hookers - someone that should be invited on a serious political talk show to discuss the sanctity of marriage?
As the answer is certainly "No," consider the delicious irony of Spitzer appearing on ABC's This Week Sunday avowing as it pertains to same-sex marriage, "The president is saying, as I said as governor, others have said around the nation, two people should be able to enter a civil relationship of love that goes on forever"

ABC should be embarrassed for thinking they are even a news outlet anymore.
