Another Hiatus

This one won't be enjoyable. I will be away until next week sometime, we are headed to Wyoming to visit a brother in law(my wife's fav!) while he undergoes radiation and will begin chemotherapy for lung cancer that has spread to his spine evidently. Right now we quite pi$$ed at the VA both in Arizona and Wyoming for not being able to find( he has been X-Rayed and cat scanned at both places) what a ER doctor in North Dakota did. My wife will stay for a few weeks to help out any way she can and I will return Tuesday or Wednesday.

If you find the time ask God to send Galen a special blessing.

ABC Is Completely Out Of The Closet (Updated)

First Brian Ross, now they broadcast more drivel...

Update: It appears it was Yahoo News chief David Chalian who uttered the racial drivel...He is now out of a job.

Democrats And Mainstream Muslims

I call bullsh*t, there are no mainstream Muslims.

The host committee for the Democratic National Convention is raising a number of eyebrows after choosing to proceed with featuring Islamic “Jumah” prayers for two hours on the Friday of its convention, though Democrats earlier denied a Catholic cardinal’s request to say a prayer at the same event.
I guess Hank Jr. was spot on after all.

Friday Nite Funnies

Town Hall

Have a great weekend everyone. Today is my wife's birthday and the kids are taking us and the grandkids to an amusement park in South Dakota for the weekend...Aint life grand?

Blowing In The Wind

More tax dollars blown away...

The struggling, foreign-owned wind power company that laid off two-thirds of its Arkansas workforce earlier this month after receiving more than $30 million in aid from the federal government also received $15 million from the state of Arkansas and was heavily promoted by the state’s Democratic governor.
Sources of energy that cannot survive without government subsidies and stimulus are nothing but a waste.
According to the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette, the firm received $6.9 million from Arkansas Democratic Gov. Mike Beebe’s Quick Action Closing Fund, and $8 million from the state’s Economic Infrastructure Fund. It also received a 25-year corporate income tax exemption, sales-tax refunds on building materials and equipment, and a 5 percent rebate on new payroll for 10 years.
“Today we celebrate the result of this successful partnership,” Beebe announced in 2008 when LM Wind Power opened its doors.
Beebe has been an ardent supporter of subsidizing wind energy.
“Anyone standing in the way of this industry, frankly, they’re un-American,” Beebe said at a June wind power conference in Atlanta. LM Wind Power’s global headquarters is located in Denmark.
Call me un-American I guess... I still think $40 million plus in aid is a chunk of money wasted.

That should take some curl out dittzy Debbie's hair...

Rule 5

Keep Looking

Jobs are still scarce. Claims rise again...

The number of Americans filing applications for unemployment benefits climbed last week to a one-month high, showing little progress in the labor market.
Jobless claims rose by 4,000 for a second week to reach 372,000 in the period ended Aug. 18, Labor Department figures showed today in Washington. The median forecast of 41 economists surveyed by Bloomberg called for 365,000. The four-week moving average, a less volatile measure, increased to 368,000.
The propaganda machine hardest hit.

A Few Economists Back Romney

500 economist and 5 Nobel laureates that is...

More than 500 economists — including five Nobel laureates — have endorsed Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney’s economic plan as the right choice for jobs creation and economic growth.
The pro-Romney group “Economists for Romney” announced Monday that its statement of support for the former Massachusetts governor’s economic plan now has 526 signatories, up from 400 a week ago.
Obama isn't working...

The Fiscal Cliff And Best Case 2013 Scenario

America cannot take four more years of Obama.

The nonpartisan Congressional Budget Office today released a frightening report predicting that the economy and unemployment will be at their current disastrous levels next year, even if Congress and President Obama act to avoid the “fiscal cliff” and revoke billions in tax increases and spending cuts slated to occur at the end of the year.
What’s more, the economy will remain in the dump even as the government piles on another $1 trillion in debt. Growth would be only 1.7 percent, and unemployment would remain at about the current level, standing at 8 percent.
There is only one way out. Obama and his minions have to be defeated.

Post Racial President Succeeds

President Obama has completely divided the country by race.

Looking inside the numbers, Obama continues to lead Romney among key parts of his political base, including African Americans (94 percent to 0 percent), Latinos (by a 2-to-1 margin), voters under 35-years-old (52 percent to 41 percent) and women (51 percent to 41 percent).
Obama has set race relations in this country back to 1960 levels. Boot the the man back to thugland Nov. 6th, Chicago can have him.

Smear Machine Lies About Smear

These people are shameless.

Nancy Cordes, CBS: As you know, your opponent recently accused you of waging a campaign filled with anger and hate. You told Entertainment Tonight that anyone who attends your rallies can see that they are not angry or hate-filled affairs. But in recent weeks, your campaign has suggested repeatedly - without proof - that Mr. Romney might be hiding something in his tax returns. They have suggested that Mr. Romney might be a felon for the way that he handed over power of Bain Capital. And your campaign and the White House have declined to condemn an ad by one of your top supporters that links Mr. Romney to a woman's death from cancer. Are you comfortable with the tone being set with your campaign? Have you asked them to change their tone when it comes to defining Mr. Romney?
President Obama: Well, first of all, I am not sure that all of those characterizations that you laid out there were accurate. For example, nobody accused Mr. Romney of being a felon. And, I think that what is absolutely true is if you watch me on the campaign trail, here's what I'm talking about. I'm talking about how to put Americans back to work.
Nobody accused Romney of being a felon, except when they did.
When lips move from team Obama, its a lie. Bank on it.

Hank Williams Jr. Slams Obama

He said what many of us believe.

Following the song “We Don’t Apologize For America” a chant of “USA, USA” broke out amongst the crowd. Williams smiled, telling the crowd that he was their mouth piece and adding:
“We’ve got a Muslim president who hates farming, hates the military, hates the US and we hate him!”
The cheers that followed were loud and enthusiastic.
Real patriots never apologize for America, Obama is not a real patriot.

Is Mike Malloy Dangerous?

I know he is nuts, but this rant is just psychotic...

From The Radio Equalizer.
MIKE MALLOY (06:24): ya filthy, filthy right-wing bastards! You're going too far! You really are going too far! One of these days somebody's going to go berserk and walk into one of your filthy holes of religious insanity with a gun! Oh! I think that happened today! [Referring to shootings at the Family Research Council's DC office]
MALLOY (06:53): so this is what the fanatics - these filthy, degenerate gutter Christians are doing. They would happily sacrifice this 10-year old child in order to save their goddamn fetus!
The left is off the rails. What the hell will they do when Obama loses?

Only applies to Obama supporters.

What Does A Trillion Dollar Stimulus Do For A Struggling Economy?

Close to 90 percent of states saw their unemployment rates rise in July, a potentially worrisome development for President Obama’s reelection campaign.
The Labor Department reported Friday that 44 states in all saw their jobless rate go up, with four states seeing no change at all. Only Idaho and Rhode Island — along with Washington, D.C. — saw their rates drop last month.
I am not sure the disaster of the Obama Presidency can be repaired. Pray American's give this failure (and the do nothing Democrat Senate) the boot.

Idiot Calls Idiot A Idiot

Its been a great week for Joe Biden...

Meghan McCain blasted Joe Biden for his controversial "chains" remarks on Tuesday, calling the vice president an "idiot" over his "race-baiting" comments.
"I'm just so sick of this BS from [Biden]." McCain said. "I can't stand Joe Biden because I think stupid is worse than being mean."
I am not sure Meghan knows the meaning of stupid, but if she will pile on Joe too, I will agree with her once.
