I'm not embarrassed supporting Ron Paul. He is the ONLY candidate talking about liberty. He is the ONLY candidate talking about downsizing the government and empowering the individual again. He is the ONLY candidate talking about actually enforcing the constitution. These are the issues that inspired the Tea Party movement. And now we conservatives support candidates who represent just opposite. It's more embarrassing IMO to blindly give big government candidates like Mitt Romney and Newt Gingrich a free pass just because they support perpetual wars we can no longer afford. Conservatives at one time in this country were more aligned with Ron Paul's foreign policy position than Romney's, Gingrich's, Santorum, or Bachmann's position because they knew perpetual war led to the erosion of individual liberties. And that’s exactly what has happened. My G_d, just the other day we were all up in arms about giving the President the power to detain American citizens without due process or the protection of the constitution if they were suspected of actively supporting terrorist organizations. We were ready to surrender these liberties in the name of security. Thanks to Rand Paul, the language was modified, but you get the point.

The truth is the War on Terrorism has eroded our liberties, just like all wars do over time; see Roman history. Examples are found in the Patriot Act and the TSA. Ron Paul’s foreign policy position is not about weakness or leaving America vulnerable; it’s about promoting individual liberty and freedom here in America. Ron Paul has always supported a strong national defense and has stated this over and over again. And yet the establishment and neo-cons treat him like he’s off his rocker because he doesn’t support perpetual wars that erode our liberties and that we can no longer afford. They call his position isolationistic when the truth is its non-interventionism and there’s a huge difference between the two. I’m absolutely confident he would not hesitate to use force to protect America. As a military veteran if I had even the slightest doubt I would not support him. The only difference between him and the ass clown in office now is he would actually get the permission of congress to do so. And that is how it’s supposed to work under the constitution my friends. Answer this question; since the War on Terrorism began in 2001 have American gained more individual liberties or have they lost more individual liberties? We conservatives already know the answer. Without liberty we are nothing.

I think he is a moron. And, if he decides to run third pty, because he WILL NOT get the nomination, he'll be responsible for oblubber getting elected again.
